How to download an Instagram story without an app
You can save a public story straight from your browser. You only need the username of the account.
Open ReelSaverSteps
- Open the account on Instagram. A colored ring around the profile picture means it has an active story.
- Copy the username shown under the picture, or copy the profile link.
- Open ReelSaver, tap the "Stories" tab, paste it and tap "Get stories".
- Tap "Download" under each story, or "Save all".
Questions
Can I download stories from private accounts?
No. Only public accounts are supported.
Why does it say there are no stories?
The account may be private, or have no story right now. Stories disappear after 24 hours.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It works in your browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
