How to save an Instagram reel to your gallery
You can save any public Instagram reel to your phone without installing an app. Copy the link, paste it into ReelSaver, and the video downloads to your device.
Open ReelSaverSteps
- Open the reel in Instagram, tap the Share arrow, then tap Copy link.
- Open ReelSaver and tap "Paste". The download starts by itself, or tap "Download video".
- Open your Gallery or Photos app. On Android the video usually appears there. On iPhone, open Files → Downloads, tap the video, then Share → Save Video.

Yes. You get a free daily limit and no signup is needed.
I can't find the video. Where is it?
Check the Downloads folder in your Files app. You can move it to your gallery from there.
Does it work for private accounts?
No. ReelSaver only works with public content.
